OPTICAL FIBER SENSORS LAB
Vivek Semwal
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Manipal Institute of Applied Physics at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) India. Prior to this, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, where I focused on the development of fiber optic aptasensors, lossy mode resonance based sensors.
I completed my Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. My research focuses on plasmonics, optical sensors, nanophotonics, and biosensors, with a particular interest in developing advanced sensor technologies for applications in environmental monitoring and biomedical diagnostics.
